I have entered the empty nest phase of life and moved back into what was our first home with my husband of 25 years. This home has been a rental for the passt 15 years and requires an entire house remodel in order to make it livable for us. We have moved out of our 3500 sq ft home and are trying to squeeze all of that furniture into 2000 square feet and that is proving to be quite trying. Follow along as we tackle this next phase of life with a sense of design and, more importantly, a sense of humor.

Thanks so much for the kind words and for the nomination. I will find a moment to view all of the questions and try to answer them as well as find worthy blogs to nominate that meet the criteria. I also enjoyed reading your blog as well and look forward to following along as you enter the uncertain empty nest period.

I have been looking around your blog and liking it. My husband and I am getting near our empty nester years with 4 of our 5 children gone and our youngest in her junior year of high school. Yikes! I like the idea of moving into a smaller home at some point, as well. I just wanted to let you know that I am nominating your blog for the Liebster Award. You can read all about it here: https://armchairdecoratorblog.com/2016/09/08/accepting-my-liebster-award-finally/.
