Day 3 of my life as a reality TV star

Day 3 began with an early morning call in Balboa Park.  Not a bad location, eh?  And to make it even better, our filming today included a pretend lunch at the Prado restaurant only, wait for it…lunch wasn’t pretend today!  It was actually real!  They delivered mimosas (yes, real mimosas) to our table and we were required to sip these during filming.  They then delivered a plate full of calimari as well as some sort of beef sushi roll that was basically raw kobe beef wrapped around seaweed and rice.  Do people really eat this stuff?  Apparently because everyone except me was rabidly attacking the plate!  The perks of being famous for just one day also included parking in the valet lot right outside the restaurant and having park services notified not to tow my car.  Maybe this television star stuff isn’t so bad!  One wardrobe change and we were done for the day.  Union requirements insist that our crew take a day off tomorrow so there will be no filming but we resume on Friday with a full day and several wardrobe changes so should be exhausting.  But, in the words of Scarlett O’Hara, “I will think about it tomorrow”.

My co=stars…Kate and Carol. See what I am up against?
