Just got back from a trip to Las Vegas to see one of the final performances of “Phantom of the Opera” at the Venetian hotel. If you have not seen this production and you are a Phantom fan it really is worth the trip.
When I arrived in my room at the Venetian I literally hugged the clean walls and immediately jumped into the bathtub for a long hot bath even though it was 109 degrees outside! I had forgotten what a clean and decorated space looked like! It was the first time in many, many years where my hotel room was a lot nicer than my own home. Sadly, I had to return home to more dust and dirt on the floor and very little progress. I am assured that it is all going to come together very quickly…..keep your fingers crossed that by the end of the week I will have closet doors, pantry shelves, granite countertops and some painted walls. Now why the woodchuck title? I ordered my hardwood floors yesterday! First of all, if you are looking for spectacular selections in a beautiful, organized and clean environment I suggest you visit Christine Green at Prosource in Mira Mesa. They have everything you could possibly imagine to cover your floors including hardwoods, tile, carpeting and area rugs and all at reasonable prices. I have never had hardwood floors before, unless you count the lovely parquet that was on the floors of the condo for 30 years, and am so excited to see how beautiful and rich it will look in my new home.
Now the cute baby part:
tell me my granddaughter is not the most adorable little girl you have ever seen? She is wearing her new “hat” (helmet) to correct some misshapen head issues as a result of her birth. She will be sporting this helmet for about two months, and looks appropriately dressed for the Del Mar Races, don’t you think?
Can’t wait to see what you have selected (and your bathroom floor). Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your comments 😀 Ella Bella is PRECIOUS – love the pink hat!
