Kitchen remodel: I know I am no cook but this is ridiculous!

OK, I admit it.  I cant cook worth a darn but who could in this kitchen?  But since I am choosing to look at all the positives I will rejoice in the fact that my kitchen actually has something that resembles cabinetry even if there are no doors, drawers, knobs, shelves etc.  Anyone want to invite us over for dinner?

is this a kitchen you would want to cook in?

What about me? In a nutshell I am a middle-aged interior designer and freelance writer, mother of an amazing 27 year old daughter, wife to my semi-retired lawyer husband and step-grandma to two delicious babies. From my earliest memories I have been fascinated with interior decorating and love to share my passion for beautiful rooms with anyone who will listen. Join me on this blog as my husband and I enter our empty nest years and move back into the first home we bought when we were first married that has been a rental for the past 15 years. I will share our experience with remodeling as well as other ideas and thoughts that I hope will inspire you.

  1. It doesn’t necessarily look like somewhere that anyone would want to cook but hey, it’s a blank slate! Good luck.

Thanks Mary. In checking out your blog I find that you are the exact same age as my daughter and your “moving” blog really moved me since we just left our beloved home as well, although maybe not for such sad reasons. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I would continue to encourage you to keep blogging, you are a very good writer full of emotion. Hope to hear from you again
